Hi everyone- my hubby will be turning 30 in December and I want to take him on a little trip. We can do an extended weekend (for example- leave on a Thursday and stay through Sunday…) so we don’t have a ton of time. We live in Philadelphia. I have been saving for this trip for years, money isn’t too much of a problem but of course, I don’t want to go to a place where we break the bank. I just want to make this trip great since we are having our first baby in January and it will likely be our last trip alone for a long time. Any suggestions on where I can whisk him away to? The only thing I came up with was Key West. Any other ideas?
By the way, I will be about 7 1/2 months- 8 months pregnant on his B-day- so a short plane trip would be ideal.

Planning a vacation where to go where to go I know the guys want to go deep sea fishing so I’ll plan the trip around that. We went last year to some deep sea fishing place in Panama paid $800 for a full day and no one caught anything it was awful and they would not refund our money!

My future husband and I are getting married in Key West, FL in April 2010. We decided to save money and drive instead of paying ridiculous flight prices. We have about 3-4 days to get back to IL from Key West. Are they any fun cities for a young couple along (or slightly out of) the way that are good to stop at? Nashville? Myrtle Beach? Atlanta? I’d love to hear some thoughts if anyone has taken this path before!

I have a family of 5, and we’ve only been on one family vacation in our life. We want to go to Key West during the kid’s school vacation in April, however, money can be hard for us. Does anyone know any hotel where we can stay for cheap? Preferably less than $200 a night, howeverr that can be really difficult so pretty much anything cheap. Necessities would include 2 bedrooms, and a kitchen, and the basics (small, just maybe fridge, microwave, possibly stove/oven, coffee maker). Thankssssss!
